NEW LITERATURE FOR PHARMACEUTICAL FILTRATION

Kingston, NY, June 1, 2000-ErtelAlsop announces the availability of its latest bulletin, Depth Filtration Media and Equipment for Pharmaceutical Applications. Publication PH-2000 includes a wealth of information regarding ErtelAlsop depth filters and filter housings which help improve the economics of pharmaceutical filtration processes. Highly effective depth filtration is often the key to the success of these processes, including API’s, blood fractions, topicals, and many others. It is vital for the protection of pleated cartridge prefilters and final membrane filters.

The new brochure describes ErtelAlsop pharmaceutical depth filter media, which are made to strict controls. A Drug Master File for these products is maintained at the US FDA Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. Filter media are available in precision cut pads for use in plate and frame and cylindrical filter presses. The same media are also available in Zeta-Pak® lenticular filter cartridge formats. ErtelAlsop also manufactures sanitary design hardware for incorporation of these media.
